Bidding
There are several ways of bidding. The easiest option is to download our Widder Auctions App onto your tablet or mobile phone so you can follow the auction, bid or set pre-bids. You may also bid in writing or by telephone using the bid or purchase order form below. On the day of the auction, you can also come to the gallery and bid on the spot or conveniently bid online as a live participant from your computer, tablet or mobile phone. App
Download the Widder Auctions app on Google Play or the Apple App Store. Register and log into the auction in the app. After successful admission, you will be activated as a bidder and can observe, place preliminary bids and bid live on the day of the auction. We recommend that you register and set you pre auction bids at least two days before the auction to ensure you are admitted and your bid is accepted. Please note that we will execute all bids for the lowest possible price on your behalf.
Written bids
For written bids, fill out the bid or purchase order form and send it together with a copy of your ID by email to office@widderauktionen.com, by fax to +43 -1- 512 45 69 or by post to Widder Auctions, Johannesgasse 9-13 , 1010 Vienna. You are also welcome to fill it out in the gallery during viewing hours and give it to an employee. Please note that your written bids must reach us at least one day before the start of the auction in order to be considered. We will execute your bids during the auction up to your corresponding maximum but always for the lowest possible amount.
Phone bids
For telephone bids, fill out the bid or purchase order form and send it together with a copy of your ID by email to office@widderauktionen.com, by fax to +43 -1- 512 45 69 or by post to Widder Auctions, Johannesgasse 9-13 , 1010 Vienna. You are also welcome to fill it out in the gallery during viewing hours and give it to an employee. We will call you in good time for your lot and then bid together with you in the auction. If we cannot reach you by phone, please also enter your highest bid on the form, up to which we will then bid for you.
Saleroom bids
Register with us by email or in person at Johannesgasse 9-13, 1010 Vienna and pick up your bidder number during viewing hours. If you do not have a bidder number by the day of the auction, please come to the bidder registration office around 30 minutes before the start of the auction with your ID.
Live-Online
Log in before the auction via our app or via our auction platform live.widderauktionen.com and register for live online bidding. For security reasons this is a two-step process! We recommend registering and bidding a few days before the auction to ensure you are admitted and your bid is confirmed.
